About Us
The purpose of Rejoice! Ministries is to be a partner and support to Christian families and local churches by offering a loving, safe, environment for Christian youth and adults to develop their talents and abilities. Rejoice! Ministries is a Christ-centered ministry. All faculty are not only qualified in their area, but are also Christians who are actively serving Christ.
Rejoice! Academy is dedicated to providing a quality Christ-centered education for Christian families. It is our philosophy that God comes first, the family comes second, and everything else comes next. Our curriculum includes ABeka, BJU, and Positive Action for Christ. There is no written homework given in elementary and middle school. Due to smaller class size, students are challenged individually; therefore, they are able to excel according to their own gifts and abilities.
Rejoice! Academy is a performing arts school and students participate in the performing arts on a daily basis. Rejoice! offers opportunities for young people and adults to minister through music, dance, and visual art. Classes are available in various types of dance, tumbling, cheerleading, theater, vocal ensemble, and art. Private lessons in voice, guitar, dramatic interpretation, trumpet, saxophone, and piano are also available. Middle school and high school electives include choir, dance, drama, journalism, and military training corps. Elementary "specials" include drama, art, computer, library, Spanish, music, and dance.
The History of Rejoice
Rejoice! Academy was established in 2006 with one teacher and 10 students in grades 3-6, all meeting in one room. One year later, we had 53 students in kindergarten through 9th grade, six teachers and almost 6000 square feet of space. This year we have nearly 90 students, 25 staff members, and 10,000 square feet of space.
